What is Apple of Fortune?#
Apple of Fortune is an instant game from 1xGames, the studio behind the 1xBet game lobby. It borrows the idea of a mines game and turns it into a climb: the board has ten rows, each row hides five apples, and some of those apples are rotten cores. You start at the bottom and pick one apple per row. A whole apple clears the row and moves the multiplier up; a core ends the round.
The setting comes from the Snow White fairy tale. The Evil Queen stands on the left of the board holding a red apple, Snow White sits on a mossy stump on the right, and a bluebird flutters over the forest. The board itself is a frame of wooden planks wrapped in leaves and pink blossoms, with the multiplier for each row printed in a column on its right edge.

The ladder in one table#
Each row pays a fixed multiple of your stake. The table lists every level, how many of its five apples are rotten and what a 10 stake returns when you collect there.
| Level | Rotten apples | Multiplier | Paid on a 10 stake |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | 1.23× | 12.30 |
| 2 | 1 | 1.54× | 15.40 |
| 3 | 1 | 1.93× | 19.30 |
| 4 | 1 | 2.41× | 24.10 |
| 5 | 2 | 4.02× | 40.20 |
| 6 | 2 | 6.71× | 67.10 |
| 7 | 2 | 11.18× | 111.80 |
| 8 | 3 | 27.97× | 279.70 |
| 9 | 3 | 69.93× | 699.30 |
| 10 | 4 | 349.68× | 3,496.80 |
The first four rows are gentle, with four whole apples to one core. Rows five to seven hide two cores, rows eight and nine three, and the last row leaves a single whole apple among five. The levels page walks through each stage.
A round from start to finish#
- Type a stake or tap one of the quick buttons under the board: 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 or 25.
- Press Place a Bet. The bottom row lights up.
- Click an apple. A whole apple turns the cell green and opens the next row.
- Press Take Winnings to collect the multiplier of the row you just cleared, or pick again to climb.
- When the round ends, the board turns over every cell so you can see where the cores were.
The rules page covers the controls in detail, including the info screen and the sound switch, and the demo page turns them into a practice plan for your first rounds.
Odds and return#
The return quoted for Apple of Fortune is 94% to 96%, and 1xGames prints the payout of every row right on the board. The odds of each pick are easy to read from the board itself: four in five on the first four rows, three in five on rows five to seven, two in five on rows eight and nine and one in five on the top row. The odds page turns those into the chance of reaching every level.
Three ways players approach the board#
- The steady collector presses Take Winnings after row one or two. Wins are small and frequent: 1.23× or 1.54× on most rounds.
- The middle climber aims for row four or five, where the multiplier passes 2× and then 4×, and accepts that roughly half the rounds end earlier.
- The summit hunter keeps climbing towards rows eight to ten for 27.97× and above, using a small stake because those rows are rare.
All three play exactly the same odds; the approach only decides where each round stops. Many players mix them, collecting early most of the time and taking an occasional run at the top.
